The Sram X-Glide CRING ROAD chainring is a 130mm BCD 5-bolt model. The star is made using proprietary X-Glide technology. The product is designed for use with Shimano and SRAM 11-speed 2 chainring cranksets. The fastening method provides greater reliability in holding the star compared to the classic four-legged type of fastening. The star is easy to install and dismantle for maintenance.

Technology

X-Glide
SRAM’s crank engineers have thrown out the old standards and developed a completely new chainring geometry. They have precisely matched the different-sized chainrings and reworked the points where the chain and chainring meet. By adjusting the teeth of the chainring to the pivot pins of the chain (instead of the centre of the chainring), you get twice as many shifting options.
