Fast rolling and wet cornering, all around road use
The Challenge VCL Strada Race 700cx25 clincher is a world-class, fast-rolling and cornering, comfortable, maximum control, all-conditions road tyre. It has a low thread count allowing more vulcanized rubber between the gaps in the nylon mesh, delivering extra durability. The PPS special fabric provides good puncture protection. The 25mm width will fit most modern road bike framesets and tubeless rim combinations.
Puncture Protection System (PPS)
The Puncture Protection System is a special fabric placed between a tires tread and casing to increase resistance to punctures. Some Tyres designed for use on rough roads, cobbles, and gravel receive PPS2, an additional layer of PPS between the casing and the inner tube.
