They have an elasticated waist with a drawcord fastening.Constructed with patch-on handpockets, plus a zipped security pocket andapatch on back pocket too. Good for situations where you may be water bound, they utilise Omni-Shield technology. In addition they have a reflective strip for low light visibility.
