Lagartun Flat Metal Tinsel is a staple for the majority of Spey, Dee, and Classic Atlantic Salmon patterns, as well as other modern patterns that use tinsel for ribbing. As with all Lagartun tinsels, these are varnished. The base metal used in Lagartun Tinsels has been annealed, so they tie in and wrap easily around the bodies of flies – without the “watch-spring” stiffness found in lower quality metal tinsels.
