Axle and Spindle Vise Inserts
The Park Tool AV-5 is a great shop accessory made to hold a wide variety of axles and spindles to enable bicycle wheel and hub maintenance. In addition to most common quick-release and thru-axle sizes, the AV-5 features smaller openings to accommodate brake and shifter housing or hydraulic hose. The AV-5 also features a 1″ hex opening for use with Park Tool cassette and freewheel tools such as the FR-1.3 or FR-5.2G. With vinyl-dipped retaining fingers and strong magnets, the AV-5 can live permanently in the vise jaws or is easily removed and stored. The precision-extruded aluminium construction ensures that it won’t damage components.
