Poets was founded by Gino Iannucci. He grew up in the neighbourhood of Poets Corner in Long Island, where all the streets are named for famous 19th century poets. Initially Poets started as a skate shop before Gino took that inspiration and turned the brand in to a clothing company. Everything about the Poets brand is derived from elements of Ginos past.
