Slotted sprocket adapter with lockring (Splined Carrier L) for Gates

The Rohloff Splined Carrier L (Art. 8540L) can be used especially in combination with Gates Carbon Drive Rohloff splined pulleys.

It can also be used for regular chain sprockets with 15-21 teeth.

A Splined Carrier L is equipped with a lock ring that is tightened with the Rohloff lock ring tool (item 8518) or face pin wrench or hook wrench.

The tightening torque of the lock ring is 30 Nm.

The lock ring axially tensions the Gates-Rohloff plug-in pulleys on the Splined Carrier L and prevents micro-movements in the pulleys that result from the pretensioning of the toothed belt.

Gates Carbon Drive-Rohloff pulleys are constructed asymmetrically. The beltline (55mm) is therefore identical to the bolted version.
