Spirit River UV2 Strung Saddle Hackle is treated with adouble dye process to give UV2 materials and flies the added UVF/UVR ultraviolet wave lengths. UV Reflectance is a spectrum of wave lengths humans can not perceive yet is extremely common in the animal and insect world. UVR allows mayflies to find mates, and bees to find flowers. Saddle hackle has a huge number of uses in fly tying and is a very versatile material that can be tied in for tails, wings or wrapped around the hook shank.
